Filesharing and child pornography

Some clients faced with child porn possession and distribution charges will claim that they accidentally downloaded the material while using Limewire or a similar filesharing program. While law enforcement will insist that this is not possible, the following video demonstrates that not only is it possible but even likely. Child porn remains rampant on filesharing networks and it’s difficult not to run across it. Along with an illustration of this point, this video also provides an introduction to the Limewire program itself. Some attorneys working such cases have never seen the program and are too intimidated (rightfully so) to fire it up.
